 Ganaflor´s pineapples are all certified to assure they are high-quality products resulting from sustainable production practices and also, that they are safe and respectful of our employees, our customers, and the environment.
Thus, our fruit meets the requirements of importers and governments of the importing countries, and most of all, they meet the growing demand for safe, wholesome, and high-quality fresh fruit.
Our pineapple has the most important certifications there are: the Global Gap (formerly known as the EurepGAP) and the United States GAP (USA GAP). To obtain and maintain such certifications, Ganaflor is audited once a year by independent third party inspectors licensed by the Global and the USDA Gap secretariats.
Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) are a set of principles to apply for on-farm production and post-production processes, resulting in safe and healthy food while taking into account economical, social and environmental sustainability.
Additionally, Ganaflor has been awarded by the Costa Rican Government with the Fit 15, a certification that assures that our wooden pallets are free from insects and contaminants.
